I  met a fantastic bunch of Portuguese Baden Powell Scouts of all ages at the Stables Market in London last  Saturday. They hailed from Lisbon and informed me, amongst many things, that the weather on the day was hotter  here than in Jamaica!

Baden Powell Scouts abide by the original scouting traditions set out by Baden Powell. In my youth, I was a  Senior Patrol Leader and Queen Scout. Scouting prepared me and put me in good stead for the majority of life’s  obstacles and troubles. It also taught me to be self reliant and to only expect to get out of life what you put  in. So always BE PREPARED!
