Spent the day recently helping Guide and Pals (Gloucestershire) to promote their Safe at Home services which  helps older people, or those living with a disability, to remain living independently in their own homes.

This is a really valuable service – they vet and monitor local contractors to ensure that work is carried out to  the highest standards and the lowest possible cost. Their approved tradespeople can provide a wide range of services  – from changing a light bulb or fixing a leaky tap, through to complete house extensions.
