I’ll let you into a little secret, readers. I like to start my day off reciting a verse or two from the bible. I feel it’s a good way to get me set up for the day. As time is ticking on and we’re all getting that bit older, I’ve come to a point in life where I find myself attending more funerals than weddings. So, it’s got me thinking about how we really should all live our life to the full.
At the beginning of March I attended three funerals in four days. Of course, it’s always sad when someone’s life comes to an end but I do feel we owe it to them to celebrate their life and give them a good send off. One of the funerals was that of my dear brother, Harold, who will be much missed.
So I say don’t hold grudges and let bygones be bygones. Book that holiday and eat an extra pork pie – you only live once!
