One of my most favourite summer events of the calendar happened last month: The annual Gloucester Carnival. Truly signifying to me that summer is well underway, we hit the city streets on Saturday 13th July to party in style.

There was huge excitement as we kicked off the fun at 3.30pm in Westgate Street. We paraded dragons, unicorns and so much more through the city and down to Gloucester Park, with me leading the way. I had a most magnificent time, it was amazing to see how hard people had worked to bring their delightful creations to life.
