As an ambassador of the great British high street and a firm believer in shopping local, it’ll come as no surprise how excited I was when our drinking establishments were given the green light to reopen. Yes, we’re lucky enough to be allowed a socially distanced pint or two and, more importantly, our local landlords are back in business.

 I was out in force at 9am on the 5th July, ringing my bell and letting everyone know that the pubs were ready to welcome us all. So, give the chains a rest and head to your local boozer, support local business and show your gratitude to our wonderful landlords in these trying times.
