Heroes come in all shapes and sizes, and I’m a big believer in celebrating people who have fought for us folk and our country. On the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, I paid tribute to some of our finest war heroes.

I had the privilege of introducing a magnificent event, where people gathered together to learn, remember and commemorate what wonderful work our armed forces do. I listened to inspiring speakers, laid flowers and celebrated those who fought in the Battle of Britain all those years ago.
