While the mock mayor parade takes part during Gloucester Day, I was proud to attend an emotional inauguration ceremony for the new mock mayor of Gloucester, Hash Norat, on 1st September.

The event took part at The Friendship Cafe and, after the year we’ve all experienced, it was an emotional event. Filled with some of the most wonderful people in Gloucester, it was a truly amazing night, and I’d like to wish Hash all the best luck for his term as mock mayor.

As always, thank you to the City Council and everybody else who supports this wonderful event and keeps the tradition going.
