I’ve done a few proclamations recently as Town Crier for the Imperial Crown Council of Ethiopia, as instructed by their Special Envoy, Philip Bonn. He’s a most fascinating man with a story or two to tell, and I’m always excited when I get the opportunity to talk to him. You can only imagine how bowled over I was when he announced he’d like me to have the honour of becoming a member of the Imperial Household.

For those of you who don’t know, Philip’s grandfather looked after Haile Selassie when he was in exile, so there are some fascinating stories that have been passed down through the family! It would be an absolute honour for me to become a member of the Imperial Household, and I can only thank Philip for backing this Town Crier.
