I don’t want to sound like a negative Nancy, but the day I’ve been waiting a long ol’ time for has finally rolled around – and I couldn’t be more excited! Yes, on January 31st we finally left the European Union, after over three years of tough negotiations.

To mark this momentum occasion, I donned my Town Crying uniform and raced over to Gloucester Railway Station. Ringing my bells aloud I proudly proclaimed: “Today is a historic occasion and day, we will finally be leaving the European Union this evening at 11pm.”

Whether you’re a leaver or remainer, I think we all agree that we don’t want to hear the B-word again! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the UK – Oyez, Oyez, Oyez!
