The recent death of Captain Tom and the continuing pandemic has got me thinking all about those people we should celebrate more. For example, the people who empty our bins, our local shop staff, and couriers who deliver our valuable parcels.
I’m a big champion of shopping local, supporting our high streets and backing small charities, so I thought it would be great if we could all come together to celebrate our unsung heroes.
The ‘be kind’ campaign was launched in 2017, in a bid to inspire kindness across the country and I’d like to channel these generous vibes. So, whether it’s remembering to thank shop staff, leaving treat packages out for couriers or being kinder to our bin men, let’s all do our best to show our appreciation of the people who keep our great country running.
