The Freemen of England and Wales were in town for their three-day AGM which was being hosted by The Chartered Freemen of Gloucester in September. I was on hand as parade marshal for the procession through Gloucester but also acted as Toastmaster and Guest Speaker at their dinner dance.

This evening soiree took place at The Chase Hotel in Gloucester. I did a meet and greet of all the members and introduced their new president, Steven White. Their visit also saw us attend Gloucester Cathedral, so they could celebrate one of our oldest and most magnificent buildings.
