I  hope you made it down to the Gloucester Docks the other day when the Food Festival was on. It was a great  event, with top chefs, food and drink master classes and lots of great food stalls. Here’s a photo of me with one  of the chefs taking part – Stacie Stewart, who reached the Masterchef semi-finals in 2010. She’s since become a  regular guest chef on ITV’s This Morning as well as making appearances on BBC’s Children in Need and the Good Food Channel’s Market Kitchen.

Before that, I was travelling with the Royal British Legion to Minden in Germany to celebrate the organisation’s 90th birthday. Another wonderful event with a great bunch of RBL members.
