The famous Gloucester Carnival attracted thousands of people as the brilliant weather bloomed over the city. A sea of vibrant colours and shimmering sparkles dispersed through the streets as Gloucester celebrated its 80th year of carnival spirit.
I was, of course, in my element as I led the carnival, parading it through the city to its final destination – Gloucester Park. I was dazzled as people danced in the streets and moved to the music, it really showed the true spirit of Gloucester. I should give a shout out to the marvellous competition winners too, it’s great to see all their hard work pay off. For those of you who couldn’t make it on the day, I’ve listed the wonderful winners below:
- Best Float and Best Community -Tyger Productions
- Star Float – Hype Street Art
- Best Commercial – Cafe Rene
- Best Young Person – Cheer Dance Academy
- Best Performance – Ambitions Dance Academy
