I’m a big Harry Potter fan, not only is the world of wizards and witches fascinating for a mere muggle like me, but it’s also provided an extra character for my entourage. Yes, Hagrid has been in my wardrobe for many years now, and this Halloween he made quite the entrance. 

He made his Essex debut at The Priory Shopping Centre in Dartford, and what a magnificent place it was too. A big town crying thank you goes out to all the staff, from the security officers to the retailers, everyone I met at the centre was jolly lovely. Even the organisers were an absolute joy to work for!

I’m also giving a big shout out to the Royal Victoria and Bull pub, which I stayed at when I visited Dartford. I definitely had a happy Halloween!
